The new home screen gives Disney park guests quick access to park information like hours and showtimes, but now also offers a fast way to your photos and mobile food orders. Plus, there’s easy access to the Shop Disney Parks and Play Disney apps. The new park icons offer a cute and simple take on some of the World’s most recognizable landmarks.
If you click on the plus (+) icon, a simple touch of your finger will bring up links to so many helpful features. The plus icon gives you access to everything from making new FastPass+ and dining reservations, to Mobile Orders, getting a ticket and Memory Maker.

This is not the first update the app has received and it certainly will not be the last. But hopefully this one helps you plan your next Disney trip!

How do you find the bus wait times? We always end up arriving at the bus stops too early.
They need to worry less about cute and how much they can cram in for it to do and make an app that works. So sick of the mobile ordering push when on my last visit it took 45 seconds for the app to open, then it would crash, freeze or be so slow as to be useless. Didn’t matter if I used my cell service or Disney wifi. I wanted to mobile order but I was through the line before the app, which got progressively worse each day, even opened. Reinstalled and it was ok ,but not great. I found keeping my phones ios and the app updated at the same time and opening the app even when not at Disney helps, but who wants to baby sit an app?
Took me a while to find whete to make & see fadtpasses. I dont like the update. Too many steps for certain things.
Disappointed. The app update didn’t get rid of the freezes and crashes. It’s been at least 4 years since the app has been like that.
Maybe you’ve already tried this, Sarah, but the last time I visited WDW, I found that the app behaved a lot better when I stopped using Disney’s WiFi and just used LTE (4G) instead. In fact, my overall phone performance improved immensely once I turned off WiFi.
