We’ve been excited to see these rooms ever since Universal announced that the hotel itself is “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward, and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.”

Room Tour

Without further ado, let’s get into these rooms, shall we?

Let’s head inside!

When we first walked into the rooms, the first thing we noticed was the circular window that provided a view of the surrounding area.

Heading in

On one side of the building, you look over the pool area.

While on the other side, you get a view of the Epic Universe!

However, we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Let’s head back to the beginning of the room and get this tour started. On the left side when you first enter the room is the bathroom. The bathroom is separated with a sink area and then a shower/toilet area.

Bathroom area

The shower and toilet area is separated by a door, which can make it much easier for multiple people to get ready in the morning (and quicker at night when everyone wants to hit the sack).

Shower and Toilet area

We were definitely intrigued by the shape of the mirror. It is circular, like the window in the room, but we thought it was a bit odd how small it was. However, there is only one sink in the sink area, so you can easily fit one person in the mirror.

The shower area comes with Stella Nova shampoo and conditioner in the Cosmic Ember scent.

As you enter the room, you will spot a large dresser on the right side.

Large dresser

This dresser offers lots of space for storing clothing and has a safe, iron, and ironing board inside.

Inside the dresser

Right next to it, you will find a small table with a coffee station on top. The coffee station comes with a coffee maker, cups, single-cup coffee packs from Cuisinart, condiments, and an ice container.

And inside, you will find a mini fridge.

There is also more storage space in a small dresser beside the coffee station.

You will also find some seating after the small dresser.

Seating and storage

The room we toured had two queen beds. This room has a lot of lightness, including white walls, white bedding, tan curtains, and tan headboards.

Beds

The beds were accented with orange pillows, and we loved the mural of stars above the beds. While the room is mostly calm colors, there are a few pops of color with the orange pillows, blue sofa, blue rug, and the mural.

There is a small table in between the two beds. The table has a lamp and clock on top, and also features a small drawer for additional storage.

We also loved that there was a curtain that could be pulled to block the view and light coming from the sink area of the bathroom.

Most of the room is not carpeted, but there is a blue rug that accents the cream-colored floors.

Floors

We felt like the room had a decent amount of space, and while you could see some elements of the theme, the room felt modern and clean. There is not much seating besides the bed, but who needs seating when you have the whole hotel and all the theme parks to explore? We are excited to explore the rooms even more when the resort opens for guests next week!

Dining

This new hotel features multiple new dining locations, including (but not limited to) a pool bar, a bar in the lobby, and a cafe/quick service location.

Cosmos Cafe and Market

Cosmos Cafe and Market is a quick service location that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a menu full of American food like burgers, paninis, fried chicken, and pastas.

Cosmos Cafe and Market

The market has lots of grab-and-go options, and for lunch and dinner, you’ll also find grab-and-go salads and sandwiches. We also noticed that paninis will be offered here, but more importantly, you’ll be able to get ice cream.

The Market

If you’re looking for your morning Starbucks fix, but there is a coffee counter here that serves Starbucks coffee, including some of your favorite Starbucks drinks, including frappuccinos, teas, and refreshers.

There’s also plenty of seating in a vibrant bright space that is themed to the hotel.

Nova Bar

You’ll find Nova Bar in the hotel lobby. here you can grab some craft cocktails, using “enclosed smoke vessels to infuse intriguing flavor profiles into the drinks.” That includes the Super Nova, made with whiskey, cherry-infused Campari, served smoked over a large ice cube, as well as The Nebula, which is Mezcal shaken with strawberry-rose syrup and topped with tonic and soda.

Of course, other classic cocktails are also available, along with beer and wine.

Shopping

Off of the lobby, you’ll find a big Universal Studios Store sign. You can’t miss it! Inside, you’ll find tons of souvenirs. Let’s take a look together, shall we?

Let’s go inside!

This is your standard Universal merchandise store. However, the merchandise found here is themed to all of the new lands in Epic Universe!

Universal Store

There are some great new additions to what would normally be a typical Universal Studios gift shop like this wand belonging to the Harry Potter character, Dolores Umbridge!

New wand alert!

And plenty of new Ministry of Magic souveniers!

Don’t worry if that’s not your favorite fandom — they’ve got merchandise representing all of the different lands coming to Epic Universe. Starting with Dark Universe, they’ve got a fun tank (which Quincy may or may not have already purchased…).

Dark Universe Tank

You’ll also find tons of Toothless merchandise to celebrate Isle of Berk! You’ll be able to meet this iconic dragon inside Epic Universe and we’re sure he would love to see you with his merch.

We can’t wait to meet Toothless!

And you’ll find your favorite characters from the Super Nintendo universe.

So many items to choose from

Epic Universe’s grand opening will be here before we know it, so it’s time to get prepared! You can also shop logo merchandise for the park in this store.

Much like Universal’s Endless Summer resorts, this property will host two distinct resorts. One side will be the Universal Stella Nova Resort, and the other side will be the Universal Terra Luna Resort, which Loews shared will open on March 25th, 2025.
