Grand Floridian Resort’s 5th Annual Easter Egg Display

The 5th Annual Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Easter egg display is currently under way. Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has been designing and hand-painting Easter eggs for 20 years. Each egg is ornamented with edible products, such as modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar floral royal icing, colored cocoa butter and sculpted sugar art pieces. Herbitschek and his dedicated team spent more than three weeks creating these edible works of art. The hollow chocolate eggs weigh 9-12 pounds and stand 16-20 inches tall. Featured this year are eggs representing: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Fox and the Hound, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Tangled's Rapunzel and Flynn, Lady and the Tramp, Robin Hood, Mulan, Stitch, Toy Story, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and, of course, Frozen. Blockbuster Experiences Will Debut This Summer Across All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks

An unbeatable lineup of blockbuster attractions will debut at Walt Disney World Resort this year starting with the April 4 launch of a new live stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. On Earth Day, April 22, a sweeping immersive, animal-themed theatrical production, "Rivers of Light," will premiere as the first-ever nightly show at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Star Wars Takes to the Skies This Summer in New Blockbuster Nighttime Spectacular at Walt Disney World

Just in time for spring, that galaxy far, far away will be closer than ever with the April 4th arrival of the new Star Wars live entertainment experience Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away and a menacing First Order stormtrooper procession at Disney's Hollywood Studios. And to kick off summer, the park is launching a new nightly fireworks and projection show called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular that will eclipse anything of its kind in the park's history.
