I have yet to stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. I have found many reasons to visit as the lobby is one of the best places to hang out while waiting for a dining reservation at either ‘Ohana or Kona Cafe restaurants. In the case of the next two photos, I was enjoying the tropical atmosphere … Continue reading "Photographing Disney’s Polynesian Resort Lobby"
Food, Fun, and Family at Ohana
Posted onAmong friends and family, people continue to tell me how Ohana is one of their favorite restaurants in all of Disney World and that they go there every time they visit. It comes as no surprise that reservations for Ohana are some of the hardest to come by amongst all Disney dining locations. For these reasons, the bar is always set very high when dining at Ohana and yet the restaurant continues to live up to these expectations time and time again. Ohana is definitely a restaurant not to be missed and it offers a dining experience unlike any other.

At this resort, … Continue reading "Celebrating the Holidays at Walt Disney World – Resorts Part 2"
Polynesian Resort Torch Lighting Ceremony
Posted onIt’s amazing the things you can learn on the AllEars.net website. I was reading the Fact Sheet for the Polynesian Resort when I came across the “Torch Lighting Ceremony.” I had never heard of it, so I decided to investigate this event for myself. Each evening at 6pm (Tuesday – Saturday), one of the fire-dancers … Continue reading "Polynesian Resort Torch Lighting Ceremony"

These first two pictures are of topiary as seen while driving from the Main Entrance toward … Continue reading "Step Back in Time to 1972 – Back by popular demand"
