"Frozen - Live at the Hyperion," a new theatrical adaptation based on Disney's animated blockbuster film, opens May 27 at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park in Southern California. This new theatrical interpretation for the stage immerses audiences in the beloved world of Frozen and takes audiences on the heartwarming journey of Anna and Elsa, with all of the excitement of live theater. Under the direction of Tony Award-nominated Director Liesl Tommy, the show features elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, and show-stopping production numbers. An exceptionally large production, the show features an opening cast and crew of more than 200, six full musical numbers and a 2,200 square foot video wall which combine for an unforgettable theatrical experience.

Day of Frozen Fun Returns on Select Disney Cruises

"A Day of Frozen Fun" is available aboard upcoming select Disney cruises: certain dates on the 7-night Disney Wonder sailings departing now through August 26, 2016, and on select 7-night Disney Magic sailings departing May 15, 2016 through September 17, 2016. Frozen Fun entails a whole day of special activities, with the ship's atrium transformed into a winter wonderland with friends from the Frozen Kingdom of Arendelle.

Grand Floridian Resort’s 5th Annual Easter Egg Display

The 5th Annual Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Easter egg display is currently under way. Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has been designing and hand-painting Easter eggs for 20 years. Each egg is ornamented with edible products, such as modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar floral royal icing, colored cocoa butter and sculpted sugar art pieces. Herbitschek and his dedicated team spent more than three weeks creating these edible works of art. The hollow chocolate eggs weigh 9-12 pounds and stand 16-20 inches tall. Featured this year are eggs representing: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Fox and the Hound, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Tangled's Rapunzel and Flynn, Lady and the Tramp, Robin Hood, Mulan, Stitch, Toy Story, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and, of course, Frozen. We have a video overview of these beautiful works of art, on display through April 4, 2016.

New Meet and Greet with Olaf to Debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios This Spring

The all-new Celebrity Spotlight character meet and greet will open in spring 2016 in the Echo Lake district at Disney's Hollywood Studios. When this location opens, you are invited into the Celebrity Spotlight to meet lovable snowman Olaf, from the film "Frozen." Also opening this spring is "Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams," a character meet and greet that will be located just off Commissary Lane near the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. In this new spot you can walk the red carpet to step into a scene with Minnie Mouse. Nearby, Mickey Mouse will be appearing as the Sorcerer's Apprentice from "Fantasia."
