My wife and I came here because of the shenanigans that they pull. We arrived and got seated but was quickly disappointed when we found out the the shenanigans only happen on certain nights when certain castmembers are working, definitely not worth the amount of money we spent. Will jot be going back

Pros:

The food was good

Cons:

No shenanigans happened even though it is advertised as a fun time. Very disappointed in the atmosphere and will not be going back unless the can start guaranteeing every interaction is shenanigans

This is the worst port I have visited, full of loud, crass Americans being overcharged for warm beer. Absolutely hideous, 5 massive cruise ships in… totally ruined. … I’m sure all the moronic cruise people will disagree and if you’re in that league then I’m sure you’ll love it … certainly not for me …

Pros:

None whatsoever

Cons:

Full of loud crass Americans

Rude staff, not worth the money

Pros:

Atmosphere is ok although feels like a missed opportunity

Cons:

Rude staff. Happy to accept tips and they wouldn't even let you drink your expensive cocktail at a standing place they just ask you to leave immediately after serving. There is no place outside to put down your drink either so you have your drink and a stupid coaster you were given on the go.

When in HS we always book a stop at Olga's. It's a great way to get in the AC have a few drinks and refresh and refuel. Drinks are a little pricy but they have some you can't find anywhere else in WDW. Sometimes you get to stand at the bar, and sometimes you get to share a table with other travelers. Sharing is our preference as you get to meet others at WDW and chat while you enjoy some drinks. All in all, I would go at least once during your visit.

Pros:

Great drinks, some cool apps and a stop to refresh and recharge.

Cons:

Drinks pricey, but aren't they all in WDW

That ride is such an embarrassment for disney. So sad. No story line. No pre-ride info to set the mood. No dialogue on ride except one animated figure singing 4 words on repeat. Doesn't even have a lap bar for security it's SOOO boring. It's like pirates of Caribbean on slow motion with no drops and someone stole all the props except the grass. Must have been designed by the CEO's son and everyone was afraid to say something.

Pros:

It ending so I can go on an actual ride.

Cons:

Everything. No storyline. Boring.

Great service! I don't understand the hate!

Pros:

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and the portions were HUGE! We watched the afternoon parade out the window by our table so that was a BONUS!

Cons:

This location does tend to be a little crowded and noisy but you're in WDW, so that's to be expected.

We went to Blue Bayou for dinner on 09-24-24. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. We were seated at a table next to the water. Our waiter was great(wish I could remember his name). I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both were cooked perfect, were tender & had a lot of flavor. The only hiccup we had was they originally brought out 2 filets and my husband had to wait for his ribeye.

Pros:

great food, staff & atmosphere

Cons:

hard reservation to get-definitely need to make it at 60 days out

Review of Walt Disney World Dolphin (Deluxe Resort)

Fantastic Stay. We have stayed all over Disney property and I am hesitant to let out the secret that for a fraction of the cost you can get all the deluxe benefits! We are not traveling with young children so the lack of Disney everywhere is a plus for us. We still feel immersed while being able to disconnect from Disney just a little. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Location can't be beat. The bus to MK and AK aren't super convenient but they are luxury coaches and VERY comfortable, so much more so than the Disney buses. We took the bus to MK from the Yacht Club which is a 5-10 minute walk.

Pros:

Location, location, location! Epcot/Studios/Boat/Skyliner right there. Feels more "adult" and upscale, and not immersed in all things Disney (Can be a con if with young children) Some of the best dining on property. Rooms were large and comfortable. Pools are amazing, second only to Yacht & Beach. All the deluxe benefits for less. Marriott points! Beautiful park and firework views!

Cons:

The daily bogus "resort fee" and parking fee really adds up and will add $45-$90 a day to your stay, make sure to take that into consideration of total cost. Not immersed in all things Disney (can be a pro instead of a con). No room charging with a magic band (not really a con for us). No Disney transportation to MK and AK, they have their own private bus service from Mears.

I’m usually a very tolerant and understanding person with wait times and the overabundance of Disney goers but this was an absolutely terrible experience. Will not be coming back here and advise others not to indulge this overpacked, poorly run Disney spot. We had a 6:15 reservation, checked in 20 minutes early, and were seated FORTY FIVE minutes later when told that we’d have a table in less than 20. Such wasted time we could have spent riding rides or exploring the park. Also, note that if you’re seated at a table, they’ll sit you with strangers if you don’t have TEN people in your group. Makes for awkward conversation. Not to mention that our waitress was the rudest person I’ve interacted with this entire week we’ve been here. She was outwardly rude, rolling her eyes, literally throwing the coasters at us and just overall not friendly. To top it off, one of our members didn’t even get the drink he ordered, the server didn’t come back to check on the table and made the table extremely uncomfortable. Please, I beg you, do not waste your time and money here.

Pros:

Fun drinks

Cons:

Packed, not guaranteed seating will probably stand, if you do happen to get seated you’ll be stuffed into a booth with your thighs against sweaty strangers to make a table of 10, probably the rudest service we’ve encountered at Disney so far this week
