What are Dapper Days?
Occasionally, there are some days that everyone seems to get dressed up at Disneyland and Disney World. And, believe it or not, it doesn’t happen by sheer coincidence. It’s an event coordinated by an outside organization that happens to take place in a Disney park.
Dapper Day gatherings in Disney’s parks are usually held twice a year (Spring and Fall) in Anaheim, Orlando, and Paris. The Disney events usually include a “Dapper Day Outing to the Parks,” plus other experiences outside the parks, such as a Dapper Day Expo (in the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall) or other offerings like parties or seminars.
This expo features a 30,000-square-foot marketplace that has a TON of clothing and accessories that are perfect for the event. They will have new and vintage options in a ton of different styles, so there is something for everyone!
History
Inaugurated back in 2011 by the savvy Los Angeles designer extraordinaire, Justin J., Dapper Day® is a collective all about celebrating the swanky, sophisticated styles of yesteryear and today. The Dapper Day members are renowned for throwing shindigs that give you the chance to strut your stuff in a seriously stylish manner, whether it’s at museums, theme parks, or any other hip locations.
Dapper Day events are all about celebrating classy threads and timeless elegance, with a dash of whimsy thrown in for good measure. And it celebrates inclusivity, so whether you want to go for a subtle touch of sophistication or dive headfirst into full-on glam, the choice is yours! Now, when it comes to Disneyland, there’s that undeniable ’50s vibe, right? Many of participants dig channeling that mid-century mojo with their outfits, but hey, it’s totally optional. That’s to say, you don’t have to adhere to the style of a a specific era. Just like back in the ’50s and ’60s when folks dolled up for a day at Disneyland, the goal of Dapper Days is just carrying on that tradition of looking sharp and snazzy, but with a modern twist. So, grab your glad rags, and paint the town stylish!

No registration or fee is required to attend a “Dapper Day Outing to the Parks,” but you do still need valid park admission and a theme park reservation when appropriate.
The events are open to all ages, so you can dress up the whole family!
This is a very casual and loosely organized event, so you won’t find any specific agendas or itineraries for experiences. It’s just a pre-determined date for guests who want to participate to dress up and perhaps meet some other fashion-forward friends in the parks!
