Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party is a delicious way to view Wishes fireworks
Posted onMy 11-year-old son has had many special experiences at Walt Disney World because we live locally and are annual passholders. But one event he hadn't been to and *really* wanted to attend was the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. Disney fireworks are among his favorite attractions, and to be able to see them from the perfect vantage point while eating unlimited sweets -- well, that was the perfect birthday celebration recently.
Searching for Hidden Mickeys at Animal Kingdom Lodge
Posted onOne recent evening, Vickie and I drove to Walt Disney World for a dinner reservation at Jiko Restaurant. The Animal Kingdom Lodge abounds with Hidden Mickeys, so I took the opportunity to do some exploring before dinner. First, we strolled around Kidani Village. There is one appealing characteristic to me about the Animal Kingdom Lodge Hidden Mickeys: many are etched in rock or embedded in cement and are likely to last a long while!
Air Supply to Perform October 2-4 in Epcot’s “Eat to the Beat” Concert Series
Posted onAir Supply (“All Out of Love”) will perform October 2-4, 2013, as part of the 18th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival “Eat to the Beat” concert series. Shows are nightly at America Gardens Theatre in Epcot’s World Showcase at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. Performances are included with Epcot admission.

Step into a cranberry bog at Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Pirate Week – Limited Time Magic
Posted onARGH! Pirates were the theme of the week September 23-29, 2013 at the Magic Kingdom as part of Limited Time Magic.
In addition to the Rusty Cutlass pirate band, special meet and greet appearances were available featuring Pirate Goofy, Captain Hook, and Jake from the Neverland Pirates and a special Pirate pre-parade!
