Day 8 — A Very Sunny Sunday

Put your hands together because I actually got out of bed on this morning at around 5:30, put on my running gear and went out at 5:45 to run around the resort. It had been at least a week since my last workout and I had no idea what to expect. My whole body was … Continue reading "Day 8 — A Very Sunny Sunday"

Contemporary Resort Updates 8/22/2007

I visited the Contemporary Resort on 8/22/07. Construction abounds. First, the lobby is undergoing a complete makeover. When you enter the building from the main entrance, the first thing you’ll notice is the statue of Mickey has been removed. I have no idea if this is temporary or permanent. Only time will tell. Also, half … Continue reading "Contemporary Resort Updates 8/22/2007"

I knew it was going to be next to impossible to get up early and run after getting in after 1 A.M. I was right. I woke up at 8:30. Please don’t tell anyone. I have a reputation to uphold. I knew we’d be leaving the room late so I looked for the “Privacy Please” … Continue reading "Day 7 — The M-Day…MGM, Muppets, and Mama’s"

Anita Answer and I were strolling through Future World at Epcot today when Anita noticed that the Fountain View restaurant is now sponsored by Edy’s Ice Cream. The pastries are gone and the facility now offers approximately 12 flavors of ice cream. We didn’t see any sugar-free ice cream on display, however, we didn’t ask … Continue reading "Fountain View in Epcot"

Well, the good news is that I woke up early enough on Friday to go out and run. The bad news is that I said to myself, “Let me close my eyes for just another 15 minutes.” We call that a “mistake.” Next thing I know its 6:47 and we have an 8:10 ADR at … Continue reading "Day 6 — From Pop to Port"

Day 4 – Animals and Actors…but no Miles

Arrgghhh….slept until 6:36 and since we had an early ADR at Donald’s Breakfastosaurus another morning went by the boards without me running. Not good.
