California native Nick Arciniaga won the Star Wars Half Marathon for the second straight year, with a record-setting time of 1:05:49. Star Wars Villain Kylo Ren Arrives at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Starting in February, Kylo Ren, the dark warrior from the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will be making appearances in the Star Wars Launch Bay in both Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland. A leader of the First Order, seeking to destroy the New Republic, the Resistance and the legacy of the Jedi, Kylo Ren will meet visitors on the bridge of his First Order Star Destroyer.

Opening Date Set for Shanghai Disney Resort

The Walt Disney Company and Shanghai Shendi Group announced that Shanghai Disney Resort will host a multi-day, grand opening celebration, culminating in a spectacular welcoming ceremony for the resort's first official guests on June 16, 2016. The world-class resort, located in the Pudong District of Shanghai, will be Disney's first destination resort in mainland China, featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters with all-new experiences tailored for the people of China.

Review: Jungle Skipper Canteen at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

My family and I were among those excited to dine at the first new sit-down restaurant in the Magic Kingdom since Be Our Guest opened in 2012. Our first opportunity was when we were in the theme park on New Year's Eve. Sounds impossible, especially because Skipper Canteen isn't taking reservations, right? We actually didn't think it was that bad because we were prepared to wait to try something new.

New Lion Guard Adventure at Animal Kingdom Limited Time

A brand new experience called The Lion Guard Adventure is set to debut in Disney's Animal Kingdom on February 7. The interactive experience takes its name, and theme, from the popular Disney Channel movie, "The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar," which debuted in November. As part of the Lion Guard Adventure, young guests explore the park in search of five main characters from the movie -- Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Beshte, and Ono, who are represented as colorful statues. Once they complete the adventure, each child can take a special pledge to become an honorary member of "The Lion Guard" and receive a special button. The experience will be offered in Disney's Animal Kingdom through late March, as one of many activities celebrating the debut of "The Lion Guard" series on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
