California native Nick Arciniaga won the Star Wars Half Marathon for the second straight year, with a record-setting time of 1:05:49. Annie Bersagel of Colorado was the female winner with a time of 1:15:09. Bersagel, 32, is also set to compete in the upcoming U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon. More than 14,000 athletes ran in the 13.1-mile journey through Disneyland Resort and Anaheim area streets, where a variety of Disney entertainment, including Star Wars characters, cheered on runners at every mile.
