NFL Pro Bowl Activities Coming to WDW
Posted onThe 2017 NFL Pro Bowl is coming to Orlando in January 2017. Walt Disney World Resort will host the Pro Bowl 5K Run, a celebratory parade featuring Pro Bowlers in Magic Kingdom and team practices at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Pro Bowl itself will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Camping World Stadium. Registration for the Pro Bowl 5K Run and tickets for the Pro Bowl will be available beginning October 25. What is it like to be in the audience at ABC’s The Chew?
Posted onAs a member of the local media, I was invited to view the taping of "The Chew" cooking show at Walt Disney World and to participate in a group interview with the cast afterward. Our small group was seated close to the stage about a half hour before the taping was scheduled to begin. Once the other audience members filed in, the show's comedian, R.C. Smith, began to warm up the crowd. Smith did a great job keeping the crowd excited about the show. He told jokes, he interacted with the audience, and he even got people to clap and sing along to high-energy songs both before the taping began and on the commercial breaks.
