PLEASE Tell Us Something New Is Coming to This Disney World Hotel

There are lots of changes happening all over Disney World right now. Between closures, brand new rides, and all-new lands, there is a lot of anticipation about what Disney World will look like in the coming years.

However, these changes aren’t just happening in the parks; the resorts are also always changing and growing. And we just got another update on a change coming to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a deluxe resort themed to a turn-of-the-century boardwalk and is within walking distance of both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. This extremely popular resort has experienced several closures and changes over the past few years.

The Big River Grille & Brewing Works closed back in 2024, the Promenade Fine Art Gallery closed in 2025, and the beloved Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar also closed in 2025.

However, these three spaces all remain vacant, and Disney just filed a Notice of Commencement for a brand new sign at BoardWalk!

Currently, Disney has two projects happening over at Boardwalk, according to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District database. “Project Amazon” is located at the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works, and “Project Bubbles” is located at the former Promenade Fine Art Gallery. We think this is Disney’s version of Project A and Project B.

Although Disney has yet to reveal any details about either of these projects. It is possible that this new sign will be a part of one of these projects, or it could be for something else entirely!
