Yesterday was April Fool’s Day, and we saw some WILD things on the internet.

It’s the day when people all over the world try to fool each other with fake news and silly pranks, but sometimes, actual news gets announced on April 1st. Today we’re rounding up 3 announcements that we thought might’ve been fake, but it turns out they’re REAL.
Pickle Oreos
First up, we’ve got the Oreo Dill Pickle Flavored Fudge Cookies that sound way too wild to be true! These were available for purchase on Oreo’s website starting on April 1st, and they’re still on sale while supplies last. Oreo describes them by saying, “Get ready for a bold fudge flavor that captures the essence of everyone’s favorite jarred snack, dill pickles.”

Yep, the cookies are even a bright green color and they come in special packaging. For $9.99 you can purchase one pack with 6 cookies inside — a little pricey, but fun for the novelty.
The Crocs Minnie Ears
Crocs have long been a souvenir staple in Disney parks, but now, Crocs has announced its own line of Minnie and Mickey ears! On April 1st, the brand shared photos of new headbands coming to their website on April 15th. At first, we were questioning if it was a joke…but this seems to be 100% real!

The new headbands come with little holes embedded in the ears so that you can mix and match various Jibbitz (those little charms you can put on your Crocs). They seem to be releasing some Disney-themed Jibbitz to go with the collection.

We also spotted what looks to be a Mickey Mouse-themed Crocs bag. You could create a whole look! There were several headband designs in the promo photos — some in Mickey version and some with Minnie Mouse bows on top.

Of course, when these drop online, we’ll make sure to let you know. We’re counting down the days — we think these will be pretty popular!
The Returning Disney World Ticket Option
One more announcement that felt “too good to be true” was the return of Disney World’s “after 2PM” ticket. We had multiple comments on Facebook ask if this was an April Fool’s joke when we dropped the news, but it’s TRUE.

You can now get a discounted ticket for the theme parks when you visit them after 2 PM. It’s a 2-day or 3-day ticket with admission to one park per day, but you can choose any of the four parks. The ticket is valid for dates from May 26th through July 29th.

The price of tickets depends on the days you go, but generally, a 2-day ticket ranges from $118 per day to $156 per day, while the 3-day version is $116 per day to $154 per day. When you look at the regular tickets, you’d be saving about $30-$50 per day.

This could be a great deal for Florida residents who want to visit in the evenings or people who prefer to sleep in or spend the mornings at their resort.

So those are some of the April Fool’s Day announcements that weren’t actually jokes! Did you see any news that fooled you?
