The growing storm is roughly 210 miles southeast of Bermuda, according to the National Hurricane Center. The storm will continue to impact Bermuda with swells that will reach the east coast of the United States.

The swells that are expected to hit the United States will be from North Carolina and higher into Atlantic Canada. The NHC said these swells are “likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.” They also said the storm is expected to become a major hurricane by the evening of September 22nd, 2025.
