REVIEW: This New $16 Disneyland Hot Dog Is Out Here Changing Lives

It’s the best time of the month! We got to try out the new hot dog of the month in Disneyland, and y’all, how can they keep coming up with incredible hot dogs?

We headed to GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel to try their hot dog of the month, and if you haven’t had the glory of an over-the-top hot dog, you’re going to head to Disneyland immediately.

Meet the Bodega Dog for $16. It’s featured shredded pork, all-beef hotdog, broccoli rabe, caramelized onions, montery jack cheese, and hot & sweet pepper aioli, all on an Italian hoagie roll.

We know, we know, it looks like a sandwich (well, isn’t a hot dog a sandwich?), but the flavors…BOOM! The shredded pork paired with the beef hot dog is savory, but is pulled back with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. The aioli provides a little bit of spice, but is paired with the sweet peppers, so it balances out beautifully.

Our only complaint? More cheese! We loved the flavor of the Monterey Jack cheese, but we needed more. The hoagie roll was crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, holding all our toppings really well.

We’re always obsessed with these fries! They’re perfectly crunchy and a perfect combo with the hot dog. The Bodega Dog reminded me of the Philly Cheesteak Hot Dog that we’re still dreaming about.
