If you’re thinking of heading to Universal Orlando this year, we’ve got great news for families!

With the recent grand opening of Epic Universe in May, the Universal Orlando parks have been pretty busy! If you’ve been planning a vacation and have been trying to figure out how to save some money, we’ve got the deal for you.
Universal just announced a new deal for Florida residents that will save you HUNDREDS of dollars if you’re traveling with a large group or family, and even if you’re just traveling by yourself, it’ll save you a big chunk of cash. Universal describes it as the “Buy 2 Days, Get 1 Day Free on a 2-Park 2-Day Ticket!”

Yes, that means you get an ENTIRE day free, which is a fantastic way to save anywhere between $80-$150 on each ticket, depending on which day you go. However, it’s important to note that this ticket is ONLY for Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, so Epic Universe is not included in this deal.

However, this means that you could plan a 4-day vacation to Universal, spend one day at Epic Universe as a separate ticket, then use this three-day ticket to spend three days exploring the other two parks! Trust us when we say that there’s PLENTY to check out in the two main theme parks, and you’ll have tons of time to ride everything you hope to without needing to buy Express Passes.

It’s important to remember, though, that if you stay at one of Universal’s higher-tiered (aka, more expensive) hotels, you’ll get Express Passes for your entire group for FREE throughout the duration of your vacation. Universal often has fantastic ticket and hotel deals on their website, so when you’re planning, don’t forget to take a look!
