Disney Springs is hosting Flavors of Florida from June 27th to August 10th to celebrate local ingredients and dishes.

Along with over 90 Florida-inspired menu items across Disney Springs, there are free culinary demonstrations to watch local chefs show off their skills. If you haven’t been to a seminar yet, let us show you why you’ll want to go this year.
The culinary series is on Friday mornings from June 27th to August 10th, and yep, it’s completely free! Kroger Delivery hosts them, and you can register for classes on the Disney Springs website. Once you register, you’ll be able to watch the demos from the Waterview Park right at Disney Springs from 9:15 AM to 10 AM.

Who will you be able to see? Let’s take a look!
June 27th — House of Blues Restaurant & Bar

Executive Chef Sebastion Amico and his team will show you how to make the Florida Fresh Shrimp Etouffee. The shrimp is sourced right from the Florida Gulf, and you can try it for the Flavors of Florida event at the House of Blues Restaurant.
July 4th — Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante

For this demo, you can watch Executive Chef Benjamin L. Dodaro prepare a Southeastern Sangria and Bruschetta alla Calabrese. Of course, the ingredients are local to Florida, and they even use petal honey!
July 11th — Splitsville Dining Room

Executive Chef Patrick Steele will show you how to make Splitsville’s Southern Goddess Salad with a green goddess dressing and a stingin’ honey garlic drizzle. Yum!
July 18th — Terralina Crafted Italian

Join Executive Chef Martin Chiaravalloti as he makes Florida Shrimp and Grits! With fresh cheddar grits and a Cajun beer reduction with local beer from the Crooked Can Brewing Company, you’re in for a real treat.
July 25th — Disney Springs Culinary Team

Looking for a dessert demo? You can watch Pastry Chef De Cuisine Lexy Ross and her team make the Orange Mousse Entremet, which looks absolutely incredible. Watching a real pastry chef at work is always a treat.
August 1st — Frontera Cocina

The last one for this year’s Flavors of Florida will be Executive Chef Carlos David Acosta Bautista, as he prepares a Coctel de Camarones featuring local Florida pink shrimp.
No matter which event you register for, all of the demonstrations are so much fun, and we loved watching them last year. Make sure you take advantage of this free festival and truly understand the flavors of Florida!
