7 Epic Universe Rides MISSING From the Early Entry Hotel Perk

Universal’s highly anticipated new theme park Epic Universe is opening next month, and it’s just been confirmed that the park WILL offer one of Universal’s best perks.

The only problem? Not every ride is taking part…

Similar to Disney, Universal offers early entry to their theme parks as a perk to select groups. According to Universal, “hotel guests and other selected groups can access one of our amazing theme parks up to one hour before the park opens.”

This perk is coming to Epic Universe for all of Universal’s hotels, including the park’s new nearby hotels (Helios Grand Hotel, Terra Luna Resort, and Stella Nova Resort) as well as Universal’s “classic hotels” (Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal’s Aventura Hotel, and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort) which are accessible via a shuttle system.

According to Universal, the following attractions will be available during early morning hours beginning May 23rd:

• Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
• Yoshi’s Adventure
• Mine-Cart Madness
• Stardust Racers

Essentially, the means the only rides offered during Epic Universe’s exclusive hour are the three located in Super Nintendo World, as well as the Stardust Racers coaster in Celestial Park.

While not a bad selection (especially the Stardust Racers and Donkey Kong-themed Mine-Cart Madness), the sure to be mega-popular Universal Monsters, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon attractions are notable omissions.

The full list of attractions that will NOT be be available during initial early park admission hours includes:

• Constellation Carousel
• Curse of the Werewolf
• Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
• Dragon Racer’s Rally
• Fyre Drill
• Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
• Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry

One important thing to keep in mind is that these selections can change over time. We’ve seen that happen with attractions in Universal’s other parks, including their Harry Potter attractions. Furthermore, according to Universal “The available theme parks, attractions and times for Early Park Admission vary based on operational and weather considerations and are subject to change without notice. Parks, attractions or entertainment may close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Orlando Resort.”

Like its sister parks Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe will offer early entry to Universal’s hotel guests. However, some of the park’s most anticipated rides WON’T be offered. Stay tuned to AllEars for further coverage of Epic Universe.
