There is so much to think about before going to Disney World!

You have to consider where you want to stay, when you want to go, and more! It can be a lot to choose from so we’re here to make it easier by telling you which restaurant2s to skip in 2025 but be warned, this might get controversial.Â
Food in Disney World has developed its own following and has become a huge aspect of Disney vacations! From iconic snacks to new restaurants, it can honestly be overwhelming to pick what you want. That’s why we’ve compiled our list of foods to restaurants to skip this year but hear us out before you sound off in the comments!Â

We’re starting off hot and heavy with a Magic Kingdom favorite by telling you to skip Be Our Guest in Fantasyland. This Beauty and the Beast-themed table service used to be a favorite of ours when they still offered a quick service breakfast and lunch option.

When the restaurant first opened, the quick service breakfast and lunch was a wonderful way to step into the Beast’s castle while keeping it more budget-friendly. After the pandemic, this offering never returned meaning you now need to pay $72 per adult and $43 per child to head inside.

While we’ve enjoyed the food in the past, a big draw of this restaurant is to see the Beast who wanders through his castle while you dine. Before the major changes, you used to be able to meet with the Beast in his study after you dined but that meet and greet is no more!Â

We briefly saw him return to the study in 2024 but apparently he is back to just roaming. According to Plan Disney, his return to the study was just a trial period and he is back to only roaming through the castle. We think $72 per adult is just too much to pay to only get a glimpse at the Beast so we urge you to skip unless you absolutely must step inside the castle.

For our next skip, we’re staying in Magic Kingdom because we think you should skip Liberty Tree Tavern! This table service is one of our favorites in the park so you might be a bit surprised to find it on our list but we have our reasons.

This table service restaurant serves up a Thanksgiving-style family meal with all the fixins! You can find mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, macaroni and cheese, turkey, and so much more.

It’s so comforting and tasty so why do we think you should skip it? This spot can get super busy throughout the year thanks to all of these delicious eats so getting in can be really difficult. We think it’s time to skip the stress and head next door to the Diamond Horseshoe!Â

The Diamond Horseshoe serves the same menu as Liberty Tree Tavern without the stress of getting in the doors! Our only complaint about the Diamond Horseshoe is that we wish they would bring back the live entertainment that used to be in this spot.

So while we love Liberty Tree Tavern, we’re gonna say skip it this year!
Our next skip takes us over to EPCOT at the Coral Reef Restaurant.Â

We don’t think many people will fight us on this because Coral Reef has been on the skip list for a few years now. It serves up seafood fare while you look into the giant aquarium that is The Seas. (That’s not weird, right?)

This restaurant has fun ambiance but the food falls flat each time. While they’ve tried to revamp the menu a few times over the last few years, it just doesn’t seem to be working. It’s not that the food is just awful, it’s just that it doesn’t hold a candle to the other options you can find in EPCOT.

The food is pretty but we just think it could be better so until they find the seasoning draw at this restaurant, we’re gonna tell you to skip and spend your money elsewhere.
Hopping over to Hollywood Studios, 50s Prime Time Cafe is on this skip list!Â

This 50s themed table service serves up American classics where your “cousin” serves you and reminds you of classic dining etiquette. You really don’t want to put your elbows on the table in this joint!

The environment is so fun and interactive but this writer isn’t crazy about the food! Putting 50s Prime Time Cafe on the skip list might cause the AllEars time to pick sides because this one will ruffle some feathers. Part of our team loves it, but it feels dishonest to me to not add it to this list. The food is fine but I think that these American classics need to be made with a little more love and flavor.Â

If you do end up here it isn’t a bad thing, you’ll find something to enjoy but if you’re making food priority lists before you trip, you can leave this one off the list.
Finally, we have our most controversial pick by telling you to skip ‘Ohana!

You can find this famous table service restaurant at the Polynesian Village Resort and it is a Polynesian themed dining experience. Now, before we get too deep into this, we love this restaurant.Â

The skillet style dining experience is all you can enjoy! It makes our mouths water just thinking about the noodles, chicken, wings, and steak. Don’t even get us started on that amazing bread pudding. So why are we saying skip it? Mainly, the price! Dinner at this spot costs you $65 per adult and $42 per child which can add up quickly if you’re going as a family.

If you want some of these delicious items, we think you need to skip ‘Ohana and go right next door to Tambu Lounge! This walk up bar has limited seating but starting at 4 PM, you can get several of the delicious ‘Ohana eats, a la carte.

If you really need some noodles, wings, pot stickers, ribs, shrimp, or bread pudding, you can order them all individually at this walk up lounge! This can be a budget friendly way to enjoy some of our favorite foods without the big price tag.

While it might feel like it’s expensive to order them all individually, if you’re there with a group it will be inevitably cheaper than paying per person at the sit down restaurant. Our only complaint? We want the beef! The wood fire-grilled black pepper-mirin-teriyaki beef is so delicious but not enough alone to justify the price tag.

So there ya have it, our full skip list. We hope you understand why we had to put some of our favorites on the list for 2025! And remember, if you want to go to these restaurants, you should go!
