It’s time to get SPOOKY!

Halloween Horror Nights is one of the biggest events of the year, and warning, it is NOT for the faint of heart. Slowly but surely, Universal is announcing details for this year’s event. Tickets are on sale now so if you’ve purchased some or you’re on the fence about it, check out the haunted houses you can experience at Universal Hollywood!
Haunted Houses
The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy
Remember how The Weeknd helped create a Horror Nights House back in Well, he’s back again in Hollywood this year! This house is “spawned from After Hours, Dawn FM and a horrifying new tale.” You’ll “get ensnared by the most iconic moments inspired by his music videos and live performances.”
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface
Y’all aren’t ready for this one! Universal says, “Fall victim to Leatherface and his cannibalistic kin as they lure you into their gore-filled slaughterhouse in a gruesome original story.”

Eternal Bloodlines
The first-of-its-kind all-female Universal Monsters house is coming to this year’s event! Universal says guests will “Get caught in an epic battle as Saskia Van Helsing and the Bride of Frankenstein go up against Dracula’s daughter and her monstrous mavens.”

Insidious: The Further
Okay, Universal is not messing around with this one. Insidious gets its own house at this year’s event where you’ll “Enter The Further as demons try to ensnare you.” Also, “The Red-Faced Demon will lure you into his lair. KeyFace will unlock your fears.” We’ll be sleeping with one eye open after this one.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Ghostbusters is one of the most popular movie franchises of all time and in 2024, you’ll be able to experience it as a Halloween Horror Nights house! Here’s how Universal describes the house: “A bone-chilling new specter, Garraka, has escaped from an ancient artifact. He’ll stop you cold with a whole army of ghosts. Try not to freeze in fear as you dodge spears of ice and he freezes people solid before your eyes. The Ghostbusters must team up to save the world from a second Ice Age.”

A Quiet Place
A Quiet Place is one of the most popular scary movie franchises in recent years and this year, it’s getting its own house in Hollywood and Orlando! Universal says: “Make a sound and you won’t last long. Monstrous creatures who can hear the slightest noise will hunt you down and silence you for good as the post-apocalyptic world comes to terrifying life.”

Dead Exposure: Death Valley
After a series of terrifying posts on social media, Universal revealed Dead Exposure: Death Valley. Zombie fans — this is for you! This is how Universal describes the house: “A secret lab’s attempts to create super soldiers takes a turn for the worse, creating radioactive zombies who escape just as you arrive!”

Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America
Monstruos 2 has quite the lineup of characters! Universal says, “It doesn’t matter if you scream help or ayuda when you face the soul-stealing rider El Charro. The devil dog El Cadejo will get you when your back is turned. And the boogeyman El Cucuy will eat you.” Okay, we’re officially spooked.

Scare Zones
Skull Lordz
“All hail the royal court of the undead, where gothic kings and queens reign. Beware! Cross into their spectral kingdom at your own peril.”

Chainsaw Punkz
“Get revved up for your night of terror as soon as you enter. Chainsaw-wielding punk rockers with masks and mohawks will close in on you.”

Murder of Crowz
“You’ve foolishly ventured into a massive crow’s nest. Now the fearsome flock will descend upon you and peck your bones clean.”

Luchadores Monstruosos
“¡Ojo! You’re about to get caught in the middle of a Lucha Libre horror film. Two luchadores are going to the mat against a horde of masked monsters.”

Shows
The Purge: Dangerous Waters
Universal says, “This fiery stunt spectacular puts you in the world of The Purge like you’ve never seen it before.”

Halloween Horror Nights will run from September 5th to November 3rd, 2024. Tickets are on sale now starting at $77 and prices change depending on the date you choose. On top of the eight haunted houses that will be open, there will be scare zones, exclusive food, and merchandise!
We’ll continue updating this post as more houses are announced — stay tuned!
