We got to see Universal’s NEWEST RIDE early!
While much of the focus on the Universal Orlando Resort is currently on Epic Universe, a NEW land is opening at Universal Studios Florida. Based on the films of DreamWorks Animation studios, this new land is occupying the space formerly occupied by Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone. This new land features several attractions, including a stage show, Shrek and Kung-Fu Panda-themed play areas, and — our focus today — a BRAND-NEW Trolls roller coaster.
The Trolls’ Trollercoaster is a newly-themed Junior Coaster based on the Trolls franchise. Like the majority of the land, the coaster is aimed at younger guests, similar to The Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom.
This kiddie coaster is a MUCH-NEEDED addition to Universal Studios Florida’s lineup of rides, especially to fill the void left by the Woody Woodpecker coaster it replaced. The theming elements are pretty adorable, too.
The coaster doesn’t represent the only Trolls-based experience on the land, though. There’s also a play area themed to the character of Poppy, specifically geared towards even younger children.
There’s also a Trolls Treats stand that looks like a giant boombox. Yes, you read that right, a GIANT BOOMBOX.
After getting a chance to see the Trollercoaster early, we’re confident this new attraction is going to become a favorite of younger kids visiting Universal Studios Florida for years to come. DreamWorks Land opens on June 14th, 2024. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Universal updates.
