NEW Jurassic Park Additions Announced for Universal Orlando

Okay, where are our Jurassic Park fans at?!

Can you believe the franchise will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year? To celebrate, you’ll be able to find some NEW Jurassic Park-themed offerings at Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood for a limited time this summer and we’ve got ALL the details here.

Universal Orlando

At Universal Studios Florida, visitors can already experience some Jurassic Park fun at Universal Islands of Adventure, including rides like the Jurassic Park River Adventure and the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.

But soon NEW offerings will be available.

Starting on May 26th, Universal Orlando will have a Jurassic Park Tribute Store for fans to check out. The store will feature a series of Jurassic Park-themed rooms with storyboards and blueprints from the movie, as well as photo ops that recreate scenes from the film. The store will also feature exclusive 30th Anniversary merchandise (that’ll include apparel, hats, key chains, and more).

Universal Orlando visitors will also get to try some new Jurassic Park-themed food by visiting Thunder Falls at Islands of Adventure. They’ll be able to feast on such delights as a Coconut Cajeta Churro (a caramel-infused churro drizzled with coconut flakes and caramel sauce) and Prehistoric Raptor Wings (chargrilled chicken wings marinated with olive and spices then tossed in a sweet chili sauce and served with cilantro lime rice, black beans, and a plantain chip).

An EXCLUSIVE Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Fanta flavor, the Wild Refresherrrr, will also be available starting on June 1st.

Finally, you can go see Jurassic Park on the big screen at Universal Cinemark in CityWalk. Screenings will be held on June 9th, 10th, and 11th.

Universal Hollywood

At Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can ride Jurassic World — The Ride to celebrate the franchise.

In terms of new offerings, there will be exclusive 30th anniversary merchandise available at the Universal Studios Store and Jurassic Outfitters. Select items will also be available at UNIVRS and the Universal Studios Store on CityWalk.

Universal Hollywood will also get some themed foods and drinks at Jurassic Cafe. The new menu will have Latin American-inspired food and drinks.

It’ll feature Grilled Veggie and Beef Skewers, Brazilian Cheese Bread, Raptor Hummus, Coconut Flan, Dino Chocolate Tres Leches Cake, and a Family Feast (two half chickens and two skewers, hummus, chips, cheese balls, mojo pork, and vegetables).

There will also be Jurassic World-themed Boxed Water, the exclusive Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary “Wild Refresherrrr” Fanta Flavor, and an Amber Mojito available.

Isla Nu-Bar will feature a “Jurassic Water” cocktail and dinosaur-themed wines (Pterrior Dactyl Rosé and Blanco-Osaurus). Cocktails can also be bought in a new souvenir Volcano Tiki Cup.

Finally, Jurassic Park will screen at Universal Cinema AMC in City Walk the weekend of June 9th.
