If you’re trying to visit one of the Central Florida theme parks, you might find it difficult to make it a whole day without a smartphone!

Most theme parks now have apps to help you navigate, offer mobile ordering at restaurants, and will even let you scan your tickets from your phone’s wallet. You can have a pretty successful vacation by relying simply on a device you carry with you constantly. But if you’re visiting Universal Orlando, there’s one in-app feature that you may not know about!
In the Universal Orlando app, you can access a special feature called “Universal Pay” which allows you to pay for purchases in the parks using a unique barcode. When you pull the barcode up in the app and use it to pay at restaurants and gifts shops, the app will keep track of your purchases and you can go into the catalog to view all your receipts. How handy!

To find Universal Pay, you simply need to go into the Profile section of the app, click on “Wallet,” and then select “Universal Pay” at the top of the screen. If you haven’t used the feature before, it will prompt you to set things up by entering your card information.

You can change and add different cards at a later date if necessary, Any money you spend using the TapTu Pay feature on the Tapu Tapu at Universal’s Volcano Bay will also be added to the “receipts” section to show your past purchases.

So if you haven’t been using Universal Pay, you may want to try it out on your next visit! We’ll keep an eye out for any new features or changes to the Universal Orlando app, so stay tuned to AllEars.
