Important UPDATES Announced by Disney Cruise Line

Then it’s likely you’re a member of Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club, which is Disney’s way of recognizing guests who have sailed with Disney multiple times. Disney previously announced that they would be adding a NEW membership tier for the Castaway Club — Pearl status — and now we know just what perks those in this status will get!

The NEW Pearl status within the Castaway Club is for those guests who have sailed on at least 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations. The Pearl status launches this summer on May 1st. With this status comes some pretty special rewards and perks!

For those guests who qualify for the Pearl membership, Disney will give unlimited FREE digital downloads of the photos taken by professional photographers on Disney cruises.

Pearl members will also get their own early booking window so they can book cruises four days before the general public can! Pearl members will also be able to schedule their cruise activities (like character dining experiences, Senses Spa appointments, and more) before everyone else with a booking window that opens 123 days before the date of their next cruise (this perk will be available later in summer 2023).

As of this summer, all Castaway Club members will get refreshed welcome aboard gifts in their stateroom. For Pearl members, this refreshed gift will include a pair of pearl-colored tumblers. Gifts are limited to one pair of tumblers per stateroom and Disney does note they’re based on availability.

Pearl members will also get a FREE dining experience at Palo, one of Disney Cruise Line’s signature adult-exclusive restaurants. This all depends on reservation availability though, so keep that in mind.
