With temporary closures for theme parks in Orlando in effect, annual pass holders have been concerned about losing time in the parks. Universal Orlando just announced their plan for annual passes during the closure.

Currently Universal Orlando is closed through April 19th. Find out more about their closure here. However, with they updated closure time, Universal announced that they are postponing the monthly payments for annual passes during the closure.

They stated “[If you] signed up with FlexPay, we have postponed all monthly payments effective March 25, 2020. We will be in touch with further details on when payments will resume. If you need to make any changes to your credit card information, please contact Passholder Services at 1-888-5-FLEXPAY.”

At the moment, Disney World is extending annual passes by the number of days the parks remain closed, but Passholders are still required to continue their monthly payments until further notice.

As we learn more about the extended closures we will keep you updated and will let you know if Disney adopts a similar policy to Universal regarding Annual Passes.
When Disney World and Universal Orlando re-open, what attraction will you visit first? Let us know in the comments.

We arrived at Saratoga Springs on the 11th and while eating breakfast on the 12th saw that Disneyland was going to close. My husband went to the desk to see what was going on and was told that Disney World would not be closing for any reason and go and enjoy ourselves. Well, we activated an annual pass for one day and will not be going back until July (maybe) with the whole family. So we lost 4 months of our annual passes because 8 hours later they said they were closing.
