We’re calling it now: 2026 will be the year of The Muppets. Not only will we get to see The Muppets take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but we’re also getting a brand new special episode of The Muppet Show SOON.
That’s right. The Muppet Show is coming back for at least one more show with special guest star Sabrina Carpenter on February 4th. Even better? Disney just dropped the first trailer for this new episode of The Muppet Show!
In the trailer, we get a peek at the revival of The Muppet Show. Even better, though, the trailer teases that if this one goes well, we might get more (we can only hope). So we need everyone to watch the trailer and tune in on February 4th to watch this special episode. The trailer also features a peek at some sketches with Sabrina Carpenter.

This special celebrates the 50th Anniversary of The Muppet Show, but we are hoping that we’ll get more episodes. We haven’t had any Muppets content to watch since Muppets Mayhem, which Disney+ unceremoniously canceled after one season.
