This NEW Chase Credit Card Perk Will Help You Save on Southwest Airlines Flights

We’ve compiled tons of tips and tricks about air travel, and now a brand new hack has arrived for an exclusive group! For the first time in years, Chase Credit Card is offering a 25% Southwest Rapid Rewards transfer bonus for a limited time.

Chase Ultimate Rewards has just launched a new transfer bonus to Southwest Rapid Rewards! This is the first time in five years that there’s been a transfer bonus between the two programs, so this is a big deal.

From now until November 6th, 2025, you can get 25% bonus points when you transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points. The bonus points will be applied to your Rapids Reward account once the transfer is complete.

Points normally transfer at a 1,000 to 1,000 ratio, so this offer means your points will transfer at a 1,000 to 1,250 ratio. There is no limit on how many times you can utilize this offer before it ends next month. Traditionally, the transfer between the rewards programs is instant.

Chase offers transfers between several different airlines in addition to Southwest! Aer Lingus, British Airways, and Iberia Club are also current partners. They are each offering a 30% bonus for a limited time.

These changes with Southwest are just the most recent in a long line of updates. The airline has overhauled its policies as of late, like the removal of the open seating policy, the end of their bags fly free policy, and the addition of free wifi for Rapids Rewards members.

They’ve also focused on enhancing their rapid rewards program. Fliers with the Rapid Rewards program will earn more points when they book Business Select fares, but earn less when flying on Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares. Redemption rates will also become variable based on higher or lower-demand flights.
