Universal Postpones Epic Universe Docuseries Once Again

Universal’s docuseries, Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks, has officially been delayed once again.

The new docuseries is now set to release on November 17th, 2025. It’s a three-episode docuseries that offers a behind-the-scenes look at Universal’s theme parks, including the brand-new Epic Universe.

Unfortunately, this is now the third time the Universal docuseries release date has been postponed. It was first set to release in July, then it was pushed back to September, and now it has been postponed until November.

Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks will be released on Peacock. It’s said to explore the “history and legacy of Universal Destinations and Experiences.” The three episodes will show viewers the history of Universal’s films and theme parks through “rare archival and intimate interviews with directors, producers, executives, and A-list celebrities.” Not only that, but you’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the opening of Epic Universe.

Some of the celebrities that will appear in interviews in the docuseries include Steven Spielberg, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, and Donna Langley, among other stars. You’ll also get first-hand accounts from Universal’s “greatest creative minds.” Getting excited? Take a look at the trailer!

We can’t wait to see the behind-the-scenes of Epic Universe’s five immersive lands — including Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, Isle of Berk, and Epic’s main hub, Celestial Park.
