We Got a Sneak PEEK at Some NEW Disney Princess Merchandise!

August is about to be a big month for Disney Princess fans!

The month begins with the launch of a Princess-themed edition of the perennial television hit Project Runway on Disney+, then culminates in World Princess Week, which takes place from August 24th through the 31st. The week will also see the second annual Disney Princess ‘Create Your World’ campaign through beloved characters and imaginative play, continuing to spark magic, creativity, and connection across generations.”

Recently, we were invited to a Disney Princess Tea Party at Manhattan at Laduree Soho in celebration of World Princess Week.

I attended this event, which gave me a chance to see some of the newest Princess-themed merchandise, including products from Mattel including fashion dolls…

… (I really can’t get over Belle’s hair!)…

… playsets…

… and further sidekick-themed accessories.

There were several LEGO products on display as well, including a full scale Princess Castleand Royal Pets set…

… as well as a smaller Cinderella dress set.

In addition, products from Owalla, Loungefly,…

… Kendra Scott…

…DIFF eyewear, Pandora…

… and Funko, Hiya, and Disney themselves were shown.

Tracy Thurman, VP of Global Product Design for Disney Consumer Products, spoke about the range of new offerings, saying, “We know that today’s fans want more than just nostalgia—they want ways to express their own style and personality through the stories they love. That’s why we continue to  collaborate with culturally relevant partners like Loungefly, Pandora, Owala, and more to create products that are not only inspired by the Disney Princesses, but feel fresh, fashion forward, and made for this moment.”

Thurman also spoke about the various collections’ focus on the Princesses’ beloved sidekicks like Flounder and Pascal. According to Thurman, “So many kids grow up dreaming of being a Disney Princess, imagining the magic, the adventure, and the friendships along the way. At Disney Consumer Products, we’re inspired by those dreams. While the Princesses lead the way, it’s often their beloved animal sidekicks who bring the laughs, the loyalty, and the heart. Whether it’s a parent, a sibling, a friend, or a pet, everyone enjoys someone by their side, and our newest designs celebrate those unforgettable bonds in every story.”

In addition to these collections, which are available now, those of us in attendance got a sneak peek at some NEW items that are still under wraps for now. Suffice to say, keep your eyes peeled for some new reveals later this month! We recently attended a special Disney event in celebration of the upcoming World Princess Week festivities.
