We Gasped When We Saw the Price for This New Popcorn Bucket

As an AMC A-List Member, you’ll always catch me at the movies, and when I go, I always scope out the new popcorn buckets.

Fantastic Four: First Steps has hit the theaters and is crushing it (or should I say clobberin’ it) at the box office. The movie’s popcorn buckets are also causing some more records.

According to Forbes, this Fantastic Four popcorn bucket is the biggest to date! It holds 9 liters, or approximately 2.4 gallons, of popcorn and resembles the villain, Galactus.

Beyond size, it’s also one of the most expensive popcorn buckets at AMC Theaters, costing a whopping $80. Most buckets cost between $20 and $65, so this design is pushing the limit on what people are willing to pay for popcorn buckets.

As an avid popcorn bucket enthusiast, I keep track of all the buckets in Disney World and Disneyland, including one of Disney’s newest, which resembles Mickey Mouse, and it only costs $45. This bucket is audio-activated, moves its head, and talks.

The Galactus bucket features removable horns and LED light eyes, but its size comes at a cost of nearly $100 after tax. I’m not sure if I could eat nine liters of popcorn in a little under two hours during the movie!

You can preorder it online now from AMC Theaters. The final version of the bucket will feature a holographic sticker with the Guinness World Records seal of approval for being the largest popcorn bucket ever made, along with a printed certificate.

What do you think of this popcorn bucket? Would you pay $80 for it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments and make sure you keep following AllEars for more.
