NEWS: Two Amazon Prime TV Series Were Suddenly Canceled

Yikes! We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but two more TV shows have been canceled.

Let’s watch TV!

It’s that time of year when networks start announcing which shows aren’t making the cut for the fall season, and let’s see if your favorite made the cut.

The first one to get cut is The Wheel of Time.

Based on Robert Jordan’s book under the same name, this fantasy series was canceled after three seasons on Amazon Prime. Don’t worry—this might not be the end of The Wheel of Time.

Iwot Studios is developing a video game based on the show, which will take about three years to complete.

The next one to be cut is The Bondsman, which is also on Amazon Prime.

This show starred Kevin Bacon and was canceled after the first season, with only eight episodes.

The show was produced by Blumhouse Television, a large horror production studio that we often see at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. The Bondsman was a horror-filled comedy with plenty of demon hunting.

We know it’s disappointing for your favorite shows to be canceled, and nothing will replace your favorite characters, but as we get into the summer months, lots of movies are coming out. They might not come close to your show, but they will pass the time before you find your next favorite.

The live-action How to Train Your Dragon will premiere on June 13th, and we’re so excited to see Toothless back on the big screen.
