It’s Official! There’s A New Character Meeting In Disneyland

Disneyland is busy right now!

The original Disney theme park is turning 70 years old and bringing with it tons of changes. The celebrations officially kick off on May 16th, 2025, but we’re already seeing some new faces in the park.

If you’re heading to the Avengers Campus anytime soon, you might see a new face in the crowd! The Red Guardian is now making appearances on the campus, and we’ve never felt safer.

In case you haven’t seen The Thunderbolts or Black Widow, The Red Guardian is a Soviet Super-Soldier and father figure of Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. Thanks to Marvel’s newest movie, the Red Guardian is now here to meet and greet throughout Avengers Campus.

You can find times for when he’ll be out (along with all of the other characters in the park) in the Disneyland park app! Times can vary depending on the weather.

We love any time we get to spot a new, and sometimes, silly face in the park! With Disneyland’s 70th anniversary rolling around, we’re expecting quite a few changes in this department. We even know that The Fantastic Four will be making their way to Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park to celebrate the new film which releases on July 25th, 2025.
