NEWS: Delta Flight Catches Fire at Orlando International Airport

2025 is the year of the planes, and we have another story involving a plane malfunction.

This Delta Air Lines flight was flying out of Orlando International Airport (MCO) when passengers had to quickly evacuate.

According to News 6, a flight, which was heading to Atlanta on April 21st, carrying 200 passengers, caught on fire. There are no initial reports about injuries.

The fire started on the tailpipe of the aircraft’s two engines.

Emergency slides were deployed, and passengers and crew were able to safely evacuate.

A statement from Delta Air Lines said, “We appreciate our customers’ cooperation and apologize for the experience. Nothing is more important than safety, and Delta teams will work to get our customers to their final destinations as soon as possible.”
