One of the biggest Disney fan events of the year will be coming to Disney World this summer!
That’s right: Destination D23 will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this summer. Past Destination D23 events have sold out very quickly, so this is our reminder to you to get tickets ASAP!
Destination D23 will take place from August 29th to the 31st. Disney has big plans for this event, and you are not going to want to miss it! So get yourselves ready, because tickets will go on sale exclusively for D23 Gold Members on April 14th as soon as 10 AM PT / 1 PM EDT.
Yes, in only a few days, the battle for tickets will begin. It’s important to note that tickets on April 14th are ONLY available for D23 Gold Members! If you aren’t a Gold Member but want to attend the event, we recommend buying a Gold Membership now before April 14th. Gold Memberships start at $49.99 per year.
We know the pricing will be $299 for general admission. There are also going to be a limited number of Preferred and Premiere seating tickets — available on a first-come, first-served basis. These will sit at the prices of $549 and $799, respectively. These tickets will include dedicated queues for reserved seating areas.
It’s going to be a wild party for the biggest Disney fans in the world. Disney revealed some of the events that will be taking place during the weekend. This includes a D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon, Disney ’80s-’90s Celebration in Concert, and The Walt Disney Archives Presents: Charting the Course, Disney’s Global Stories & Inspirations.
There are even going to be shopping sprees available at the event. Shop till you drop at places like The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey’s of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Ink & Paint Marketplace.
If you had any experience buying tickets online for the 2024 D23 Expo, you probably ran into some issues. Many people reported freezing and even being kicked out of the queue for tickets, resulting in losing the chance of even buying them. Tickets for Destination D23 will most likely involve a Virtual Queue online as well. So just make sure you are set up and prepared in advance; logging on right at the time of drop won’t work in your favor.

I’m just sick with D23; nothing but disappointment over and over. I’ve been a Gold Member every year since I knew about D23 back in 2018/2019. BUT, I still work for a living and guess what I am a CPA. AND, it’s 4/14. Do you think I could sit and watch for who knows how long on this date. Just like last year, I am in tears. I did get in last year with the Viss Disney card tier, which meant I had to miss ALL the night time events (the best ones). I wish I knew all the hidden secrets besides being influencers like you guys.
