It’s time for some Disneyland news!

Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland

The original Disney park is about to celebrate its 70th anniversary with fan-favorite parades returning, new shows, and more for the festivities. Now Disney has shared that there’s even more fun coming this summer!

Starting over in Disney California Adventure, a brand new show is debuting called Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! The show will bring guests inside Mickey’s Clubhouse for a party featuring new music, interactive fun, and appearances from several Disney characters.

During the show, Pluto, Goofy, and Daisy haven’t arrived yet, so Mickey and Minnie take the show on the road. The show will take place in the Disney Theater. The concept art looks similar to Disney Jr. Play and Dance over in Hollywood Studios, so we’re eager to see what it becomes when the show debuts on May 16th, 2025.

California Adventure

Also in California Adventure, guests will now be able to meet Rex from Toy Story! Starting on June 1st, 2025, you can meet the adorable green dinosaur for a limited time at Pixar Pier in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary.

  1. I went to Disneyland for the first time in the summer of 1955. I am 71 years old now, so I was about 1 1/2 years old. It is my first memory in life. I remember the jungle boat ride. I remember eating a vanilla cone.

  2. Hopefully Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live will just be at Disneyland because there is a character I don’t want to have discontinued for good at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
