NEWS: Police Pursuit Ends In Disneyland Lockdown

On March 24th, 2025, the search for pursuit suspects in Anaheim led to Disneyland.

Police were in pursuit of an alleged stolen vehicle suspect who led them to the Pixar Pals parking garage. Police then locked down the garage, where they found the car abandoned.

According to CBS News, the chase of the stolen vehicle began in San Juan Capistrano, where police believe 1 to 4 suspects stole a grey Chevy Camaro and proceeded to “fly” down the road to Anaheim.

The chase reached over 100 miles per hour when police stopped the ground chase for safety concerns. They switched to monitoring from the air to continue following. The suspects quickly exited the freeway and made their way to the Pixar Pals parking garage.

The suspects entered the Pixar Pals parking garage. This garage holds roughly 6,500 cars and thousands of people at a time. CBS News Reporter Desmond Shaw explained that this pursuit would be “like finding a needle in a haystack.”

The police sealed off the parking garage, but the vehicle was already abandoned. According to NBC Los Angeles, at least two people were taken into custody. Guests waiting to exit the parking structure had to wait about half an hour for deputies to clear the area. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news.
