NEWS: Disney Just Revealed the Release Date for Its NEW Live-Action 'Lilo & Stitch' Movie

OK, Disney fans, it’s time to listen up. One of our favorite parts of being a Disney fan is getting to enjoy all kinds of Disney movies — both old and new! And while we love the classics, like Cinderella and Aladdin, there are plenty of NEW Disney movies that have captured our hearts. Seriously — have you seen Luca? That movie is amazing!

Well, we’ve got some BIG news to share, as Disney just dropped the release date for one of its MOST ANTICIPATED — for better or worse — 2025 films: the live-action Lilo & Stitch.

On October 11th, Disney confirmed that the new take on the 2002 animated classic will premiere on May 23rd, 2025.

The film’s cast includes creator Chris Sanders, reprising his role as the vice of Stitch, Maia Kealoha as Lilo, and an ensemble including Sydney Agudong, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, and Courtney B. Vance. Disney hasn’t shared much else from the film, aside from some early footage of Stitch, which was shared at the D23 Ultimate Fan Event back in August.
