Disneyland is adding new perks… and increasing prices.

As its East Coast counterpart, Disney World, often does, Disneyland has announced ticket price increases across the board in the fall of 2024. Magic Keys, the resort’s equivalent to Annual Passes, were not immune to these increases. However, they’re also bringing some new perks for Key Holders.
Disneyland’s Magic Key Holders are eligible for extra perks that Disney calls “Magic Key Extras Unlocked.” According to Disney, these offerings “enhance your visits to the Disneyland Resort throughout the year.” Bonus perks typically include things like Magic Key-themed merchandise, dining opportunities, and discounts.

According to the Orange County Register, a NEW Magic Key Extras Unlocked perk is coming in 2025. This perk allows Magic Key Holders to receive a 50% discount (as opposed to the normal 20% discount) on Lightning Lane Multi Pass at “select times” throughout the year, with the first offer running from January 6th through the 31st of 2025.

Theme park reporter Scott Gustin also shared that Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (the new attraction coming to Disneyland Resort) before it opens to the public on November 15th.
NEW: Disneyland Resort says current Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to be among the first guests to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. More information will be shared soon about the preview opportunity. The ride officially opens Nov. 15. pic.twitter.com/L0DEGLFze6

This discount and new preview opportunity will join other Magic Key Extras Unlocked, which include:
- Magic Key holder special experiences at select times during the year
- Special keepsakes designed for Magic Key Holders
- Early access to a limited number of presale tickets for select events
- Magic Key Disney PhotoPass opportunities featuring special photo locations and more
- Access to Magic Key terrace, a dining location designed for Magic Key Holders and their guests
- Magic Key-themed merchandise and food & beverage novelties
- Menu items crafted for Magic Key Holders
- Savings on Disneyland Resort hotel stays from time to time
- Discounts at participating locations at the Downtown Disney District

These experiences are going to cost more, however, as Magic Key prices (which are only intermittently on sale) are increasing at each level. The Imagine Key is increasing by $100 to $599 (a 20% increase), Enchant Key is increasing $125 to $974 (a 14.7% increase), Believe Key is increasing $125 to $1,374 (a 10% increase) and Inspire is increasing $100 to $1,749 (a 6.1% increase).
