I’ve Done Some Absolutely Unhinged Things in Disney World, and This One Almost Broke Me

Okay, so let me tell you something. I’ve done some pretty wild things in Disney World.

And by wild, I mean absolutely, mind-bogglingly unhinged. Look, it’s my job. If you know me (or have seen any of our videos), you know that some of our challenges can be pretty out there, but for the most part, they’re nothing compared to the one that almost broke me.

As I was saying, some of the challenges I’ve done in our videos have been pretty wild — like the time I was handcuffed to Quincy for an entire day in Magic Kingdom or the time I had to eat an entire packet of mayonnaise as punishment.

Now, I love a good condiment as much as the next person, but straight-up eating a pack of mayo? Maybe not that one again. Still, those challenges were basically child’s play compared to the one that almost broke me: carrying a big bucket of cheese balls around for 3 days.

It sounds ridiculous, right? You’re probably thinking, “Carrying a bucket of cheese balls for a few days — how hard could that be?” Well, let me just say, it was hard. It was very, very hard.

Picture this: I’m in Disney World surrounded by families, princesses, and churros, but here I am lugging around a massive, obnoxiously bright bucket of cheese balls for THREE DAYS, and the stares I got…wow. People were looking at me like I’d made cheese balls my entire persona.

And it didn’t help that people kept making the same jokes over and over. Everywhere I went, it was like, “Ha! Ya hungry?” At first, I tried to laugh it off. I’d smile, nod, and respond, “Yep! Just a regular day in Disney World!” But by day two, the awkwardness had gotten to me. People just kept staring and kept with the jokes.

I finally cracked. I couldn’t handle it anymore. I found the first mobile order bag I could get my hands on, shoved the giant tub of cheese balls inside, and carried it around like that. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

It was honestly one of the most embarrassing and exhausting things I’ve done in my Disney World career. You’d think something like this would be no big deal, but it became the biggest deal of all.

Would I do it again? Eh, maybe. But next time, I’m hiding those cheese balls way earlier.
