Can you believe that the maiden voyage is almost here (December 21st, 2024)? We’ve got to start planning our outfits, lots of sunscreen, and our dining plan (of attack). Speaking of dining, as we’re getting ready to enjoy everything the Treasure has for us, we want to make sure that you don’t make this simple mistake when you start your days aboard the ship!
So, you’re ready to embark on a journey aboard the Disney Treasure? Now, when you finally get on board and before you dive headfirst into your day, whatever you do, do NOT start your day on the Disney Treasure here. We’re talking about not being late for breakfast.
We can all agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? Well, on a Disney cruise, it’s no different. But here’s the deal you’ve go to keep in mind: Many, many people on a Disney cruise tend to get breakfast on the later side.
Think about it. You’re on vacation. You’re relaxed. Who doesn’t love to sleep in a bit? This all means that the later you go, the more you’re going to have to contend with a sea (pun intended) of fellow cruisers all trying to get their morning fuel.
So, if you want to avoid the crowds and start your day off on the right foot, you’re going to absolutely want to get breakfast early. Remember that early bird gets the worm, or mickey waffle in this example. Trust me, it’ll be worth it. The earlier you head to breakfast, the more you’ll be able to enjoy your meal in peace, without having to elbow your way to the bacon.
Another thing to keep in mind is that breakfast hours can be surprisingly short. This is a cruise, after all, and they’ve got a jam-packed schedule of activities and events lined up for you. You’ll want to check the exact breakfast times the night before. As a point of reference, on the Disney Magic, Cabanas typically closes around 10:45AM. The Disney Treasure is likely to follow a similar schedule.
We totally get it if you’re not much of a morning person (we aren’t either most days), but maybe you’ll want to give it a try at least on your first day. You might just find that the calm, quiet start to your morning really sets the perfect tone for the rest of your cruise. Plus, you’ll be left with plenty of time to dive into all the other activities the Disney Treasure has to offer.
Bookings are available now aboard the Disney Treasure for seven-night sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean for its inaugural season.
We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney Treasure news, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
