4 Top Secret Shortcuts in EPCOT

From rope drop strategies to where to find the best snacks and bathrooms, we’ve discovered a ton of hacks during our years visiting Disney World. However, there are a few more valuable than all the easiest and most useful shortcuts around the resort.

Finding efficient ways to move around EPCOT can be particularly important, given the sprawling size of Disney World’s second theme park.

The Odyssey Pavilion

One shortcut that we love to talk about is the Odyssey Pavilion! This pavilion is located partway between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion, so it’s the perfect shortcut from World Discovery to World Showcase.

It has several outdoor bridge pathways that cut across the water, and when the Odyssey building itself is open, you can even cut through indoors.

CommuniCore Hall

EEPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall is home to the Mickey & Friends meet and greet, but it’s also home to a large, open, indoor event space. When this space is just open for seating, it’s a great cut-through!

It doesn’t cut off too much walking, but it’s a great shortcut from parts of World Nature and World Celebration if you’re heading towards CommuniCore Plaza.

Moana Meet-and-Greet Pathway

Another shortcutis located near the Moana meet and greet! This path cuts from Spaceship Earth to World Nature, coming out right next to this meet and greet, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, and Coral Reef Restaurant.

It’s typically a quieter path than some of the larger walkways that head to the different lands around EPCOT, so you can avoid the crowds by taking this shortcut!

The Friendship Boats

And finally, we’ve got to talk about the Friendship Boats that go across World Showcase Lagoon! These aren’t really a “secret,” but SO many people forget that they exist.

These boats are the ultimate shortcut because they get you all the way from Canada to Morocco without the extra steps. A true blessing if you’re trying to make your way through the countries!
