A Popular Low-Cost Airline Is Adding a NEW Nonstop Flight to Orlando Airport!

Finding nonstop flights to and from your hometown and Orlando can be difficult, depending on where you live. We keep you updated on all the latest Orlando Airport news, which includes new nonstop flights. If you live in Canada, this news could be REALLY fantastic for you!

The Orlando Business Journal has reported that Porter Airlines, a low-cost Canadian airline, will start adding service from Nova Scotia, Canada, to Orlando starting December 6th, 2024.

In addition to this new route, there will be 14 weekly departures added to existing routes to Ottawa International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. In total there will be “up to 126 weekly departures across 14 routes from Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal and Halifax” that will be traveling to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.

This more than doubles the capacity of passengers Porter Airlines can accommodate on their Canada to Florida routes. This signifies the increased demand for this travel, and we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for new information.
