A Closed Downtown Disney Store Likely Won't Reopen for MONTHS

If you were planning on hitting up this store at Downtown Disney, we recommend you make a slight change in plans.

Downtown Disney has been undergoing a years-long refurbishment, with the construction of Parkside Market as well as refurbishments for its already established shops and eateries. Although we are excited about all the improvements and expansions going on at Downtown Disney, we do get a little bummed at some closures!

WonderGround Gallery is home to stunning Disney-themed artwork, home decor, and apparel. This boutique housed unique pieces perfectly suited for gifts or souvenirs but on March 11th, 2024 it closed its doors for a refurbishment.

Look out for some special artists!

There’s no word on an official opening date, but the refurbishment is slated to be completed next winter. The Disneyland official website, however, states to check back in the fall for updated information.

In the meantime, if you’re still looking for WonderGround exclusive artwork, you can still find some pieces available at the Disney Home store, which is located nearby.
