We know a LOT of you out there are Target shoppers.

That probably has something to do with all the amazing Disney merchandise you can find at Target (and we’ve found a LOT). You can buy a lot of Disney Store stuff there, too. Now, though, you might have even MORE of a reason to spend money at Target: the retailer is set to launch a new membership program soon.
According to CNBC, Target is planning to offer a paid membership program called Target Circle 360 similar to membership programs offered by Walmart and Amazon. The program will include unlimited free same-day delivery within an hour for orders over $35, as well as free two-day shipping, plus other benefits for members.

The cost of membership will be $99 per year, although when it launches in April, there will be a promotional price of $49 per year that will be available through May 18th. However, those with a Target credit card will still be able to pay $49 per year after that. Target has expressed hopes that the paid membership program will encourage its customers to order more stuff online.

One thing that Amazon and Walmart offer, though, that Target hasn’t mentioned yet is free streaming subscriptions. While Amazon Prime comes with access to Amazon Prime’s streaming service and Walmart+ includes a subscription to Paramount+, Target hasn’t mentioned anything similar for its new program.

Target also has plans to relaunch its free Target Circle loyalty program and credit card with an experience that’s easier and more customized. For example, members in Target Circle will no longer have to search for discounts when shopping — those will be applied automatically. The Target Circle card will continue to offer 5% off purchases, as well as free two-day shipping and a longer window for returns.
