Whew! Disney World just made a TON of changes in the theme parks.

The Disney Dining Plan is back and we’ve been browsing the Disney World app to see how it works. Park passes are no longer required for many visitors. With this change, park hopping has also returned to normal meaning (with a park hopper ticket) you can visit any park any time you want! That brought along some other changes to Genie+ and transportation which is what we’re here to talk about now!
When park hopping returned in 2021, you could not hop to a second park until 2PM. This rule remained in place until now, January 9th, 2024. Since you couldn’t park hop until 2PM, Disney World bus transportation didn’t start running between parks until right before that time.

Now, that has changed! We spoke with a Cast Member and confirmed on the Disney World website that buses now run park-to-park starting at 10AM each day.

Buses aren’t the only way to get from park to park. The boats and Disney Skyliner connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and the Monorail connects Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can also drive yourself between parks which may be faster than some Disney transportation.
