WARNING: This Disney Post May Cause Serious FOMO (But It's Totally Worth It)

Disney Parks around the world are getting new lands (and yes, we’re a little jealous over here on this side of the world).

First, World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland BLEW our minds with its level of detail, rides, and food. Well, now a new Zootopia-themed land has opened at Shanghai Disneyland and it sounds amazing. There’s so much to see, do, and HEAR in this new land, and it sounds incredible.

Welcome to the City of Zootopia, Besides having the ride Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and a new show “Disney Zootopia Comes Alive,” there’s even MORE you can do here.

If you visit the Grand Pangolin Arms Apartments, you’ll be able to hear some of the residents that live there, including wolves. While you’re there, you’ll be encouraged to add your own “howls” to the cacophony. So if you say “Howl-o” or “Howl ya doing today,” you’ll trigger responding howls from inside the apartments.

But this land is filled with more unique sounds — the idea is that the City of Zootopia is a “living, breathing metropolis, home to animal residents going about their daily lives.” There’s the Jaguar Comedy Club where you’ll hear hyenas, but there’s also a dentist’s office where you’ll hear beavers getting their teeth worked on. You’ll even hear the bubbling mud at the Rhino Mud Baths.

Okay, we know how much AllEars readers love a nice restroom, and we think this could be reason ALONE to visit the new Zootopia land. The tiles and colors have a rainforest color palette, but it also has various-sized doors throughout to fit all the different-sized animals that live in the City. You might even hear animals in the stalls next to you doing their thing like chatting on their cell phones or doing “bits of comic business.”

Other fun details in the City include elephant-sized benches, itty bitty doorways for smaller animals, and a car made to fit a giraffe. It sounds like so much fun.

As far as food goes, you can eat an actual Zootopia Pawpsicle, which is a “faithful replica” of the frozen treat in the movie. It’s flavored with hawthorn berries. You can also get a gigantic Chocolate Marshmallow, which looks like the Jumbo-pop Nick Wilde uses to melt in the movie.
