If You See Me at Disney World With a Cat Scarf, No You Didn’t

Every once in a while, a new phenomenon takes the internet by storm.

It might be a kid singing in a Walmart, a kid talking about how much he loves corn or a kid talking about liking turtles (wait, we’re sensing a pattern here…) But, sometimes — it isn’t a kid at all. In fact, it’s Taylor Swift’s cat.

Taylor Swift was named Time Magazine‘s Person of the Year for 2023, joining a long history of other celebrities, politicians, world leaders, and more. But, we’re not really here to talk about Taylor Swift. We’re here to talk about her cat.

You see, Dear Reader, when Swift was told she would be named Person of the Year, she apparently only had one question — could she bring her cat? And so, she did!

Time Magazine’s “Man of the Year,” which has since been renamed to Person of the Year, began back in 1927 with Charles Lindbergh as the first honoree.
