Fans may have poured out a Fuzzy Tauntaun this week for the closing of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, but a new LEGO release just might make the sting a little easier.
LEGO has put out some impressive Star Wars sets over the years — did you try your hand at the 1,949-piece X-Wing Starfighter that came over May the Fourth? If you’re not one to shy away from a challenge, there’s a new set that is going to be an even bigger mission to complete, and early access for it starts now.
The new Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser celebrates 20 years of Clone Wars adventures. This 5,374-piece set is huge, measuring over 43 in long!
“With models this size, we can really dive into every detail,” says Hans Burkhard Schlömer, LEGO Star Wars Model Designer. It features two minifigures, the iconic red stripes, and a command bridge and hangar containing a brick-built scale model of a Republic Gunship.
This set is currently available for early access, so you’ll have to sign up to be a LEGO Insider, but good news — it’s free to join!
You’ll get early access to select sets, are occasionally eligible for special gifts with purchases, can earn rewards on purchases, and more! With this Star Wars set, Insiders earn 4,225 points.
