If you’re a Marvel fan who has not yet made it to Disneyland this summer, you may want to book that trip ASAP.
A lot of things are going away at the end of the month in Disneyland, including Wondrous Journeys, Disneyland’s 100th Anniversary fireworks show. But something else is going away, too, and we know a lot of Marvel fans are going to be sad about it.
Although many of us were hoping for the run of Rogers: The Musical at Disney California Adventure’s Hyperion Theater to get extended, it doesn’t look like that will be the case. According to The Orange County Register, Disney has confirmed that Rogers: The Musical will still end on August 31st.
The show just premiered two months ago, and a lot of Marvel fans were hoping for the show to get extended, but it seems like Disney has other plans for it. However, you can still catch it through August 31st on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 12:15PM, 1:45PM, and 4PM.
At the moment, Disney does not seem to have plans to replace the musical with something else at the theater. Disney COULD decide to bring the musical back at a later date, but it probably wouldn’t happen for a while.
Rogers: The Musical began its life as a mock musical in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, but Disney decided to bring the musical to the real world this year. The Hyperion’s 35-minute show features several songs from that TV show, as well as five new original songs.
If Rogers: The Musical was on your list of must-sees, you need to get to Disneyland before it ends. In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for more Disney news, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon.
